Softel will be attending the CableLabs Summer Conference 2010 in Keystone, Colorado from August 15–18, 2010.
Founded in 1988 by cable operating companies, Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs®) is a non-profit research and development consortium that is dedicated to pursuing new cable telecommunications technologies and to helping its cable operator members integrate those technical advancements into their business objectives.
Twice a year, during the summer and the winter, CableLabs hosts members-only conferences which provide attendees with current information about changing technology and supporting business and strategy objectives, as well as providing a forum for them to interact with each other. Attendees receive information from cable experts, including the CTOs and CEOs of the industry's leading operators.
Softel regularly attends the CableLabs conferences to present the latest developments of its iTV solution: MediaSphere.

Softel is demonstrating its iTV playout platform, MediaSphere, at CableNet 2010 in Los Angeles from May 11 to May 13.
MediaSphere is an integrated suite of Interactive TV playout solutions that provides a flexible system to innovate and reliably playout high volumes of content to multiple platforms. The latest generation of MediaSphere fully supports advanced targeted advertising and is widely deployed at prestigious broadcasters, operators and programmer head-ends. Sam Pemberton, Softel CEO, will deliver a technical lecture on "Captioning challenges in the modern workflow" as part of the "Television Workflow and File Management" sessions.
The Softel lecture is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2010,in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Room S228.
